
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is currently hosting its 2014 Student Design Competition (SDC) and inviting all interior design students to participate and compete for more than $4,700 in prizes. The IIDA Student Design Competition celebrates original design and rewards individuals and/or teams whose projects demonstrate innovative, functional design solutions that have a positive environmental and human impact. This year, students will evolve the concept of the open office to offer employees a workplace that encourages health, well-being, collaboration, and productivity. 1st prize – $2,500, 2nd place – $1,500, 3rd place – $750.
